How does one share a external hard drive in android 4.4.2

Hello! I have a MQX(android 4.4.2 KODI) media box with many external drive hooked to it. I am looking to share them across my network(samba). The upnp will not sharen files (let one open ntfs)  to other kodi devices on network.
